  1. Hi Tammy,
Great shot for the theme. They look like the dried pods of a thistle. Very pretty. Have a great day!

  2. Very lovely – my kind of picture!

  3. even though they ar nice like this i prfer to get some colors around now after all snow…. great round theme photos anyway 😉

    • I agree Christina…hey our snow is almost all gone…color should be coming to my neck of the woods SOON!! Hopefully it will for you too! 🙂

  4. I was looking at flowers in my garden for this theme…but now I have another idea…really love this photo Tammy!

  5. You grow wonderful WEEDS Tammy, cattle and horses hate those burrs, do you have cattle and horses in Omaha? If you chop them out, I am sure you could get some tumbleweed to grow. LOL

  6. Very clear shots. Perfect for the theme.

  7. love the plain flower against the vivid background. I can’t wait till things are growing again.

  8. Nice pictures on the theme of circular. But even spherical because of the subject

  9. I like the second shot especially with crossed stems and the second seed head just slightly blurry compared to the first. And the soft mauve background on these is lovely.

  10. Love these. The color of the background is stellar! And your focus is superb.

  11. Those are really cool Tammy. Nice DOF on them to show the sharpness.

  12. Kudos, Tammy! You took something drab and mundane and made it look beautiful. I like your processing and bokeh.

  13. Both beautiful images! You’re really getting the hang of capturing a soft background.

  14. Nice shots! Great take on the theme. I love the clarity and DOF.

  15. What they said! (maybe not Ron) Especially on the fine DOF.

  16. Just beautiful. The bokeh is so beautiful. Great details.

  17. You even make flowers that have faded look beautiful!

  18. You’ve made something very usual into something unusually lovely! Great focus and the back color is stunning. Are you buried in snow again today, Tammy? I was reading the news about another plains snowstorm.
