220. Creative Exchange Week 6: Hidden Treasure
This week is more lensbaby and more textures. I shot the flower bloom using the lensbaby double glass lens w/ the +4 macro attachment. I then layered it in PSE9 w/ 3 different textures from Shadowhouse Creations, did some dodging and burning, and finally added a slight vignette. I then played a little w/ the levels adjustment and adjusted the hues just a touch and ended up with this. As always, thanks Lisa for letting me play !
I had some requests to see the original picture, so, here it is….
To see other Creative Exchange entries, or to join in the fun, go on over to Lisa’s White Cotton Tee
Very nicely done. 🙂

Tammy – This is GORGEOUS!! I absolutely love the vintage look. You have also convinced me that I “need” a Lensbaby!
Thank you so much for sharing this at The Creative Exchange this week!
Have a wonderful day.

I love what you did with an already lovely shot. How do you know when to stop when using textures?
Ellen said this on November 2, 2010 at 9:30 pm |
I just stop when I like the results….no real art or science to it!

Wow! It really has a great effect. One of these days, I will give this texture stuff a whirl.

My goodness, that is a whole different language. I am so totally out of all this. Dodging, burning, vignetting, lensbaby (??), I haven’t a clue. I like the result though. As I did the original.

I love the soft colour in this. The work you did with the texturing is a lovely enhancement. The Creative Group is paying off for you…
