89. Lines in HDR

I killed two themes with one stone….Karen’s friday photo tip of lines and Mike’s HDR tutorial!  This corn field is about to be planted and in this state it shows off both horizontal and vertical lines.  Thanks Karen and Mike!  🙂

Camera: Canon XSI, Shot in Manual, Lens:  55-250mm, Focal Length:  250mm, Aperture F/14,  Shutter Speed 1/250, ISO 800 also shot 2 others in +2 and -2 exposure.  Processed in Photomatix with Mike’s guidelines, then transfered to Lightroom 2 for the final touches.

  1. Very nice! I like the contrast in textures too, with the rough field contrasted against the fluffy clouds.

  2. This is pretty nifty…but were you lying on your tummy to take this photo???

    • No, it rained all day, icky mud! I took it standing about a block back from a road and zoomed in on it.

  3. Great job on this Tammy, you also broke the rules of 3rds. LOL

  4. Twofers are so much fun!! Great processing!!

  5. I never would have guessed this was a cornfield–I’d have guessed some sort of stone embankment. Must be my Eastern eyes!

  6. The lines are fabulous. The clouds are wonderful. It is a work of art.

  7. Nice one love the two themes.
