53. Metal and Worn

Hey, I covered two themes in one w/ this old metal and worn fountain (it is not on yet due to the cold).  I was intrigued by all of the rich texture in this.

Camera: Canon XSI, Shot in Manual mode, Lens:  55-250mm, Focal Length:  154mm, Aperture F/6.3,  Shutter Speed 1/200, ISO 400      Processed in PSE8, adj levels, cropped, topaz adjust-clarity at 50% opacity, increased saturation a little

  2. If that is copper or bronze in that fountain, there is a new theme for you, “Patina” and you captured it wonderfully. as per normal.

  7. This is a wonderful image. I love the colors and the textures. The repeating square shapes are great, also.

  8. It must be copper, to have oxidized with that turquoise? the pattern and interplay of colors is intriguing.
